Breckland Council offers a competetive VAT-free business waste service tailored to your business needs.

Services include weekly, fortnightly, monthly, term, one-off and/or seasonal collections of general waste and recycling.

You can also choose from a range of containers, including 240l, 360l, 660l and 1,100l.

A Rich History

Snetterton Heath RAF airfield was built during World War II and was home to the 96th United States Air Force Bomber Group between 1943 and 1948.

After the war, the disused runways and service roads began being used for motorsport. The first ever race event was held in 1951 by the Aston Martin Owner’s Club. The area started to attract more commerce and local landowner Richard Johnston began storing grain and cleaning products in dedicated warehousing from 1978.

Commerce grew, including the Snetterton Sunday Market, local engineering companies and purpose-built structures for large logistics companies including FedEx and DPD. In 2015, petfood manufacturers Natures Menu built a 90,000 sq ft factory.

In 2011, the race circuit was lengthened and redeveloped and now attracts over 350,000 visitors each year.

Today, Snetterton Commercial Hub is home to over 40 hectares of existing businesses and has the opportunity to more than double in size in the coming decade.
